Internet Corporate Employee Plan Rebate Terms and Conditions of Offer

Please read the following terms and conditions as well as the individual terms and conditions applicable to any product.

Effective 1st April 2005 Optus Internet Pty Limited ABN 14 083 164 532 ('Optus') agrees to provide you, the employee with:

  1. OptusNet Cable and OptusNet DSL rebate of $100 for each employee whose application for OptusNet Cable or OptusNet DSL is accepted by Optus in accordance with these conditions described. OptusNet Cable and OptusNet DSL rebate is inclusive of GST and will appear as $90.91 plus $9.09 GST. Optus will use its reasonable efforts to ensure the rebate for OptusNet Cable and OptusNet DSL will appear on the bill following the month the rebate request was received by Optus. The rebate won't appear on your bill if your account is in credit.
  2. OptusNet Dial-up rebate equivalent to 20% discount on OptusNet Dialup monthly access fees for 6 calendar months starting in the billing cycle immediately following the date the discount is processed for any current OptusNet Dial-up plans. To be eligible for this discount the customer must have Optus Home Phone service. After initial 6 months period all fees revert to the then current published prices.
  3. OptusNet Cable and OptusNet DSL and OptusNet Dial-up offers are in addition to 'yes' reward bundling benefits and in addition to promotional offers made to the general public. OptusNet Dial-up offer cannot be used in addition to other ongoing discounts. Discount applies only to months where there is a monthly access fee charge on the account.
  4. Optus will pay the rebate under the following conditions:
    1. if the company has a valid Corporate Employee Plan Agreement in place at the time the order is placed;
    2. if the employee has ordered the service and Optus accepts the completed application and is satisfied with the credit worthiness of the employee or that the employee is otherwise able to pay their debts as they fall due;
    3. if the Service has been installed or provisioned successfully;
    4. if the employee has contracted the OptusNet Cable or the OptusNet DSL service for 12 months and the OptusNet Dial-up service on a month to month basis;
    5. if the employee submits a request for a rebate by way of visiting www1.optusnet.com.au/offers/employeeplans/internet within 4 months of the Service Activation date and submits a valid promotion code; and
    6. if the employee is signing up for the service as a new customer (moves and changes to existing services are excluded from this offer); and
    7. if the employee has not previously claimed a rebate for the service as part of the Corporate Employee Plan offer or any other rebate based promotional offer. One rebate per Internet account applies.
    8. if the services offered under Corporate Employee Plan are consumer services with no additional features or functionality over and above those available to the general public.
  5. Rebates are not redeemable for cash.
  6. Offer may be withdrawn or changed at any time without notice.
